brahman.to them he said"lord of creation through the chetana -desire created
matter & life .
Bhargava asked :how many powers support this creation.and which is the prime
among them?
awkash-space air fire water earth are so.Also mind,speech,eye,ear.
But life is most important of them.
Then kausalya son of Asvala:when the life was born?how it enters the body?
how it departs?
He said :life is born of the awtman-soul.as there is a shadow for every thing
that is real so is life connected with the soul!
it comes to the body through chetana-desire of the mind.
The chetana directs the show of breath /prana.
apana-breath is for ejection of foriegn matter in the body & procreation.earth
samana -breath is for distribution of energy in the body.space.
vyana-breath is for circulatory system.-air.
udana-breath elevates one to immortality.fire.
Gargya son of surya asked him?
what are the powers that goes to sleep & wakes up& dreams etc.
for this he said just as the rays of the sunbecome one when it discharges light
so does all powers become one in search of the supreme truth.that is why he
sleeps then.
satyakama son of sibi asked?
If one meditates "Aum" to the end of his life what does he attain??
he said the syllable Aum is the Brahman of any order.
Therefore one definitely attain it.
